Condition Report
Oil on panel. The panel is formed from a thick section of wood which is in plane and in a good condition overall. The paint layers are stable, they have developed a network of drying cracks following the grain of the wood and appearing dark in the sky. There are scattered areas of retouching across the surface with a large area in the lower right corner. The retouchings are well matched to the original. The varnish is even and semi-matte. There are losses to the corner mouldings on the frame.
