You will receive a confirmation email after booking your appointment, this will contain instructions surrounding social distancing, please read this before your appointment.

We offer regular drop-in valuation days at our Stansted Saleroom (every Wednesday) and Hertford Office (every Thursday) for general antiques - appointments are optional.
For specialist categories such as Coins, Design, Jewellery & Watches, Paintings & Sculpture, and Wine, we host designated valuation days that require a booked appointment with the relevant specialist. Details of these events can be found via the drop-down menu here or in our valuation day calendar.
Valuation slots are typically 30 minutes, suitable for single items or small collections. For larger collections, please contact us directly on auctions@sworder.co.uk | 01279 817778 to arrange sufficient time.
The easiest and quickest way to receive an auction estimate is to submit your request through our online form.
Collections will be from either our Stansted Mountfitchet Auction Rooms (Cambridge Road, Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, CM24 8GE) or, for furniture and large items purchased from Fine Interiors, Design, or Single Owner Sales, through Abels Moving Services Ltd. If you are arranging for a courier to collect your items, you will need to book an appointment on their behalf. Please see our list of Recommended Couriers who will be happy to assist you. We would advise that you obtain a quote for costs beforehand. You are, of course, very welcome to use an alternative courier.
