STORAGE OF LOTS | Sworders x Abels Partnership

Due to the close scheduling of sales throughout April and May, we are unable to facilitate the collection of furniture and large items purchased in our Design sale (Wednesday 30 April) from the saleroom. Furniture and large items, and small items if they form part of the same invoice, will be available for collection from Tuesday 6 May from Abels Moving Services Ltd (Abels), at their depot at Potters Bar.

Small items may be collected directly from our Stansted saleroom.

CHARGES

Collection Fee

To make this process smoother, Sworders will cover the standard £25 collection charge normally applied by Abels.

Storage Charges

Abels will begin applying storage charges of £4.00 per lot, per day, from Monday 12 May, giving you time to make collection arrangements before then.

Additional charges will be made for items exceeding 8 x 8ft.

A Levied Liability Charge (LLC) of £0.08p / per £1k value of goods.

Abels will charge to the client for storage, shipping and delivery. All costs associated with collection and storage are payable directly to Abels and must be paid prior to collection of the lot(s).

Abels Terms & Conditions can be found here. (All subject to VAT and 6.72% insurance on total admin charge).

Collection is by prior appointment, made directly with Abels Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm (No weekend collections).  You will need to provide your ID at the time of collection, or prior notification, where your items are being collected by a third party.
