A Private Collection of Taxidermy
The Homes and Interiors Department are pleased to present a private collection of over forty lots of taxidermy.
Purchased over many years, the collection encompasses the very best in the art of taxidermy, including several examples from J Cooper & Sons, London, regarded as one of the best taxidermists of the Victorian era. Many are displayed in bow-front cases and the detail of the settings and quality of the craftsmanship set them apart.
We can offer appointments to view the lots three days preceding the sale: Friday 22 June, Monday 24 June and Tuesday 25 June, from 10am to 2pm.
