The Jan Finch Collection
Following on from the success of Sworders 9th November sale, Instinct, Scholarship & Curiosity: The Jan Finch Collection, the Homes & Interiors Department are delighted to offer further objects from the collection of the pioneering dealer, the late Jan Finch (1952-2021).
With a natural curiosity and a tremendous thirst for knowledge, the late Jan Ellen Finch led the London-based Finch & Co. over four decades to become one of the best-known and exciting dealerships of the modern era. The Homes & Interiors section includes both carefully chosen items of Finch & Co. stock and many pieces from Jan’s personal collection. Presented together, the section is a celebration of many of her passions, extending beyond her professional work to include gardening, cookery, and travel.
