Eleanor started her journey working for an antique jewellery shop, then moving to Mappin and Webb, before realising that auction was her true calling. Her love of antique jewellery meant it was the perfect environment to see a broad variety of rare and usual pieces. Discovering antique signed pieces from Giuliano, Wiese and Faberge, to contemporary classics by Bulgari and Seaman Schepps, you never know what someone is going to bring in and that unknown is part of the daily excitement.
Having trained at the Gemmological Association of Great Britain she holds her FGA and DGA qualifications in gemmology and diamond grading.
Previously she ran the fine jewellery auctions for another auction house, before joining Sworders in 2024, primarily based in the London office.
